As homeschoolers we often have a "git it done" attitude using whatever resources are at our disposal. So it is with this website. Fortunately we have a little better tools than in the past, but there's still a lot of work and tweaking required to make a website that fits our needs for Master's Lyceum. With that in mind, I would like to tell you the vision for this website.
Eventually, the goal is to use this website as the full-service, one-stop-shopping location for Master's Lyceum.
- Teachers will have their own web pages for each of their classes. They will be able to add, edit, and remove information. They will be able to post the syllabus and upload course materials that can be downloaded by the students.
- Students will be able to access their class websites to get homework assignments and download course helps.
- Teachers will be able to access and print out their class rosters.
- Parents & students will be able to send messages to their teachers thru the website.
- Teachers will be able to send out emails to the students in their class in a mass mailing.
There are probably more ideas out there on how this site can do more things. This isn't any one person's website. This is the website for this community of homeschoolers and your voice is important.
